Position: Client-Focused Personal Support Worker Role

Become a Client-Focused Personal Support Worker with Weeneebayko Area Health Authority in Moose Factory, ON. Deliver person-centered care while supporting clients in their daily living activities.

In this permanent, full-time role, you will engage with clients and their families to facilitate activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Your ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team and your knowledge of infection control will be essential. The position also involves advocating for client needs and effectively communicating with nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with all activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Facilitate safe client transfers and repositioning

• Maintain hospital equipment and environment

• Collaborate with health professionals on client status

• Advocate for clients’ health and wellbeing

Requirements:

• Completion of Ontario PSW program

• Registration with the Personal Support Worker Registry

• At least one year of experience in a care setting

• Familiarity with infection control practices

• Proficiency in Cree is an asset
