Position: Paramedic Community Care Role
Location: South Interlake (MacGregor)

Join Shared Health as a Community Paramedic in Portage La Prairie and play a pivotal role in delivering essential pre-hospital care. This in-person position supports diverse patient needs in a clinical environment.

The role requires a committed individual with three years of relevant experience in emergency medical services. A strong understanding of Indigenous customs and effective communication is vital for connecting with clients from various backgrounds. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients

• Analyze complex situations and develop care plans

• Assist in training and mentoring new paramedics

• Maintain clear communication with patients and families

• Adhere to all relevant health regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Canadian Primary Care Paramedic program

• Certification with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba

• Experience interacting with diverse populations

• Bilingual capabilities preferred

• Physical ability to manage patient care
