Position: Laboratory Assistant at Dynacare
Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

This permanent, part-time position requires you to obtain blood samples and conduct tests with empathy and precision. You'll be working day shifts to create an ideal customer experience while adhering to Dynacare's values. By assisting the team in maintaining quality metrics, you'll contribute significantly to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain quality blood samples via skillful venipuncture

• Conduct various patient tests including ECGs and urine collections

• Sort and manage specimens following established protocols

• Ensure documentation meets corporate quality standards

• Provide outstanding customer service to patients

Requirements:

• Secondary School completion and lab assistant training

• Proficient in phlebotomy with strong patient management skills

• Detail-oriented in a deadline-driven environment

• MLPAO/CSMLS Certification recommended

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
