An exciting opportunity exists to provide healthcare in a rural community as a Registered Nurse in Milk River, Alberta. The Town of Milk River (population about 825) is located about 300 kilometers southeast of Calgary and about an hour southeast of Lethbridge. It is the only place you can reach the US border in 10 minutes' drive! Serving the farming and ranching community, the Milk River Health Centre provides a range of health care services to including emergency, long term care, lab & diagnostic imaging, along with other allied health programs.

As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which may include reception, greeting and directing visitors, patients and health professionals, maintaining patient records and charts, transcribing and processing physician orders as well as scheduling patient tests and/or treatments.

You will also be responsible for performing a range of administrative activities in support of the unit.
