Become a key support provider at Southern Health-Santé Sud as an Uncertified Health Care Aide. This temporary, in-person role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring quality care and engagement.

Located at Foyer Notre-Dame, this position offers the chance to give vital care under the guidance of healthcare professionals. You will engage with residents, helping them with Activities of Daily Living as documented in their care plans. This role demands both initiative and independent judgment while adhering to best practices and standards in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily living activities as per care plans

• Maintain a person-centered approach to care

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for effective patient support

• Engage in ongoing education to maintain competency

• Adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience in health care settings preferred

• Minimum Grade 12 education

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Proficiency in English and French

• Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs
