WAHA is seeking an experienced Registered Social Worker to join its Integrated Indigenous Health and Specialized Community Services Division. Candidates will utilize advanced skills in mental health Act assessments, crisis intervention, and collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams. You will have the opportunity to impact patient care at various stages of their health journey while living and working in a picturesque northern community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Mental Status Exams and relevant assessments

• Perform psychosocial evaluations for patients with psychiatric symptoms

• Provide crisis intervention for patients in situational crises

• Develop comprehensive care plans with treatment recommendations

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for patient care

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work required

• Master’s Degree preferred

• Registration with Ontario social work organizations

• One year experience in crisis psychiatry setting

• Valid G license required
