This unionized position involves managing electronic patient registrations, processing physician orders, and coordinating tests and procedures.

Your role includes accessing medical records, arranging transportation, and answering phone inquiries. As a key support member in the department, you will assist with chart assembly, maintain clerical supplies, and facilitate the communication of patient information.

• Manage electronic registrations, admissions, and discharges

• Process physician orders and coordinate patient tests

• Access medical records for healthcare practitioners

• Answer phone inquiries and coordinate transportation

• Maintain clerical supplies and assist with staffing coordination

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent clerical and organizational abilities

• Previous unit clerk and Meditech experience preferred

• Medical terminology course or willingness to complete

• Accurate detail orientation with satisfactory attendance
