Job description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team and under the general direction of the Manager or Addiction Counsellor Degree Senior, is responsible for the day-to-day client services delivery (development, implementation, deliver and assists with evaluation) of Addiction Services. Performs clinical management, community education, and community development.
- - Bachelor Degree in Chemical Dependency or another Degree accepted by employer

- - Knowledge in addictions specific twelve core functions
- - Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize urgent client needs
- - Knowledge in Developmental Model of Recovery
- - Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate referrals
- - Ability to accurately assess addictions and/or addiction related issues.
- - Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
- - Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- - Strong interpersonal skills
- - Knowledge of Sask Model of Recovery Services and motivational assessment process
- - Promote healthy lifestyles in urban & rural settings with diverse populations
- - Strong knowledge of policies and procedures established by Addiction Services
