Paramedic

Position: Paramedic Role with County of Simcoe
Location: Central

Serve your community as an Advanced Care Paramedic at County of Simcoe. This vital role ensures efficient emergency and non-emergency medical care delivery.

Reporting to the Platoon Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of patient care. Your responsibilities include responding to urgent medical situations with rapid assessment and treatment based on established standards. Ongoing education, teamwork, and excellent communication skills will be essential in this challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond efficiently to emergency calls

• Apply critical medical skills to stabilize patients

• Conduct proper documentation as per guidelines

• Liaise with Central Ambulance Communications Centre

• Ensure vehicles and equipment are ready for service

Requirements:

• Community College Graduate Certificate in Advanced Care Paramedicine

• Current MOH AEMCA and ACP certifications

• Valid Ontario “F” class driver’s license

• Strong ability to handle stressful scenarios

• Commitment to continuous professional development
