Your role involves planning activities and ensuring effective resident communication, requiring weekend and evening availability.

As a Recreation Aide under the guidance of the Recreation Director, you will assist in creating impactful programs for seniors. The position involves evaluating residents' physical and social needs while documenting their progress. You'll also participate in team meetings to align activities with residents' interests and assist with meal service as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement specially tailored programs

• Document and evaluate residents' progress regularly

• Communicate effectively with families and other departments

• Participate in ongoing education workshops

• Prepare and supervise daily recreational activities

Requirements:

• Diploma in Recreation or related fields

• Prior experience working with elderly residents

• Familiarity with Point Click Care

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• VPS screening completed within the last 6 months
