Position: Pharmacy Technician I at Covenant Health Canada
Location: Wainwright Region (Tofield)

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.
The Pharmacy Technician I provides technical and operational assistance to the Pharmacy Department in the preparation, checking, distribution and procurement of pharmaceuticals.
The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications   Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program or recognized equivalent required.
Active registration with Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) required.
Additional

Required Qualifications   Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in teams.
Demonstrated computer or word processing skills.
Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning.

Preferred Qualifications   Prior hospital experience.
Membership with a pharmacy professional organization is preferred.

Experience with sterile hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding considered an asset.

Experience with EPIC and Willow considered an asset.
