Position: Emergency Services Paramedic Opportunity
Location: Killam

Become a Primary Care Paramedic with Emergency Health Services in Killam. Perform essential patient assessments and provide crucial life support in demanding situations.

In this role, you will assess patients and transport them from emergency scenes to healthcare facilities. Covering diverse and challenging environments, you will lead the BLS crew and ensure vehicles are fully equipped for effective care delivery. This position not only demands physical strength but also a commitment to handling emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate emergency scenes and patients' health

• Conduct patient transports using various vehicles

• Deliver treatment with basic life support components

• Maintain proper equipment levels in all transport vehicles

• Direct the BLS crew in emergency scenarios

Requirements:

• Good standing registration as a Primary Care Paramedic

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Hold or eligible for Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence

• Must pass the F.A.R.E. test prior to application

• Preferences for prior EMS experience apply
