Key Responsibilities:

• Complete the Health Care Assistant certification program requirements

• Attend classes consistently and engage actively

• Apply for registration with the BC Care Aide/Community Health Worker Registry

• Undergo CRC checks for working with children and vulnerable adults

• Sign a 12-month Return of Service agreement

Requirements:

• Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status

• English proficiency test passing score if applicable

• No prior involvement in a Health Care Aide position

• Must own personal laptop and have reliable internet

• Flexibility to travel for classes or clinical rotations
