Job Description:
The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
Human Resources Exemption: No
Education Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
Licenses Valid Class 4 driver's license
Other Education and Training International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Competencies Basic - Writing skills
Basic - Verbal communication skills
Basic - Interpersonal skills
Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work independently
Other Information Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
