Experienced Youth Clinician in BC

Location: Bella Coola

Become an impactful Youth Clinician at Vancouver Coastal Health, located in Bella Coola, BC. This hybrid position focuses on developing treatment plans for youth with substance and mental health issues.

As a Youth Clinician, you will be responsible for providing essential mental health services in a community setting.

Your role will involve conducting psychosocial assessments, tailoring treatment plans for youth, and engaging families in counselling processes. Your expertise will help bridge gaps in care and support positive outcomes for our community’s youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions

• Provide psychoeducation and support for families

• Screen and refer clients to appropriate services

• Consult with educational and health professionals effectively

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Behavioural Sciences

• Minimum three years’ experience in youth care

• Valid BC Drivers License for necessary travel

• Strong understanding of mental health and substance use protocols

• Proven ability to work in diverse team environments
