Paramedics; ACP​/PCP) And Emergency Medical Responders

Position:
Paramedic (ACP/PCP) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) at Medavie Health Services West, Shamrock.

Location:

Wadena, Wynyard, Foam Lake and Rose Valley, Saskatchewan.

• Provide independent advance clinical care.
• Ensure safe transportation of individuals, including emergency and non-emergency responses and inter-facility transfers.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment following patient needs and public safety requirements.
• Meet clinical expectations and responsibilities for Advanced Care Paramedics as defined by the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP), Saskatchewan College of Paramedics registration requirements and Medavie Health Services West policies, procedures and protocols.

• Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean record; current driver’s abstract (within 30 days).
• Current CPR-C, BLS, PALs, ACLS (for ACPs only) and ITLS certification.
• Current (within last 60 days) valid and clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
• Ability to work efficiently as a member of a team and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Availability for all shifts as assigned and maintained good attendance record.
• High regard for confidentiality, excellent work habits and professionalism.
