Long Term Care Registered Physiotherapist

Location: Brant and Norfolk (Waterford)

Take on the role of Registered Physiotherapist at a Long Term Care facility in Delhi, Ontario, where your expertise will help residents improve their mobility and overall health. Focus on developing individualized care plans to meet each resident's unique needs.

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Physiotherapist to work part-time in our Delhi facility. This position involves conducting assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and providing essential physiotherapy care. You'll also liaise with families about care management and collaborate with a dynamic health care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess residents’ needs and create treatment plans with measurable outcomes

• Provide physiotherapy treatments tailored to each resident

• Educate families on health care and self-care strategies

• Ensure accurate documentation of resident progress

• Oversee Physiotherapy Assistants and students in their tasks

Requirements:

• Good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

• Professional License Insurance required

• Effective interpersonal skills with residents and families

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Police check for Vulnerable Sector needed
