Operating Room Manager at PRHC

Location: Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

Elevate surgical care as the Operating Room Manager at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC). Lead clinical operations, ensure high-quality patient-centered services, and foster collaboration among teams.

As a key member of PRHC’s Surgical Services leadership team, you will provide strategic guidance and operational oversight for the Operating Room. Your expertise in surgical services and healthcare operations will enable effective management of resources and improvement of patient flow. Collaborate with surgeons, staff, and external partners to enhance surgical utilization and optimize outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in operating room operations and quality initiatives

• Develop strategies to improve surgical wait times and patient outcomes

• Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to optimize efficiency

• Manage budgets, procurement, and capital planning processes

• Ensure compliance with accreditation and legislative standards

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Health Administration or related field preferred

• 3-5 years leadership experience in surgical services

• Strong data analytics and performance management skills

• Knowledge of Ontario Health wait time strategies

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
