Location: Carman

Become a vital Home Care Attendant with Southern Health-Santé Sud in Carman. Deliver compassionate care that empowers clients to live safely in their homes.

In this permanent role, you will provide essential home support under the supervision of the Home Care program's Resource Coordinator. Your responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and ensuring their comfort. Strong critical thinking skills and an appreciation for cultural diversity are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with their personal care needs at home

• Ensure compliance with safe food handling practices

• Prioritize tasks based on client needs and independent judgment

• Function effectively as part of a Home Care team

• Travel to clients' homes and other facilities as required

Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Grade 12 education

• Home Care Attendant Certificate from a recognized institute

• Prior experience in home care settings is an asset

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and vehicle insurance required

• Flexibility to work across evenings and weekends
