One Kids Place is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Parry Sound to enhance the lives of children and youth through specialized rehabilitation services. Flexibility in schedules is essential to cater to client needs.

In this Permanent Full-Time position, you will assess and treat children/youth in a family-centered approach, offering support in areas like self-care and leisure. Your contributions will also include educating families and community partners and ensuring continuity of care collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide family-centered treatment to maximize functional abilities

• Utilize therapeutic techniques for effective therapy

• Communicate treatment strategies with families and teams

• Offer clinical supervision to interns and support staff

• Maintain clinical documentation adhering to privacy standards

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

• 2 years of pediatric healthcare experience preferred

• Strong communication skills

• Computer competency for assessments and documentation
