As a Permanent Full-Time Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting seniors within residential care facilities. Your responsibilities include facilitating therapeutic exercises, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a safe environment. Regular communication with physiotherapists about resident progress will be crucial as you strive to deliver effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute treatments as directed by physiotherapists

• Lead dynamic exercise classes for residents

• Maintain safe and clean treatment spaces

• Document daily therapy sessions accurately

• Report concerns regarding resident conditions

Requirements:

• PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology equivalent

• Experience in long-term care is an asset

• Current Vulnerable Sector screening required

• Proof of Tuberculin test clearance needed
