Temporary Physiotherapy Assistant in Ontario

Location: L'Orignal

Become a Physiotherapy Assistant for our Long Term Care facility in L'Original, Ontario. You will work temporally from February 3 to February 25, 2025, to help implement treatment programs for our residents and support their rehabilitation journey.

In this role, working 25 hours a week, you will assist with conducting exercises, supporting mobility, and documenting treatment progress. Additionally, you will monitor residents' health and report any pertinent changes to the supervising Physiotherapist. Your experience will be vital in helping residents achieve their treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead group and individual physical therapy exercises

• Encourage residents to follow their treatment plans

• Document and report on residents’ treatment sessions

• Assist with safe transfers and mobility tasks

• Apply necessary therapies like heat and ultrasound

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Physiotherapy Assistant program

• Proficient multi-tasking and communication skills

• Previous Long Term Care experience is an asset

• Valid TB Test or Chest X-Ray needed

• Must have a reliable vehicle and driver's license
