Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will support clinical operations by assisting providers and delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient workflows within the practice.
Key Responsibilities Include- Assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Obtaining patient histories and preparing patients for visits
- Performing routine lab procedures and preparing specimens for transport to the lab
- Following up on test orders and communicating results to providers and patients
- Maintaining patient education materials
- Creating and updating patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintaining medical equipment and clinical supplies
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
Performing other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related technical training
- Medical Assistant experience
Required:
- Approved Medical Assistant Certification within six (6) months of hire OR proof of active license/certification as one of the following:
- EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
- NREMT (Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician)
- Paramedic
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
