Location: Hamiota
Take on the rewarding role of a Health Care Aide at Prairie Mountain Health, located in Shoal Lake, Manitoba. You will provide direct care and support client independence while adhering to established care standards and policies.
As a full-time entry-level health care aide, you’ll need a Health Care Aide Certificate and Basic Cardiac Life Support Training. Your responsibilities will include following individualized care plans, supporting personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and documenting care services meticulously. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining clients' health and safety during their care journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Document all care methods and client observations
• Facilitate personal hygiene and mobility for clients
• Maintain a hygienic and safe environment
• Implement proper hand hygiene and infection control
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate from an accredited program
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Strong organizational skills and independent work style
• Effective communication abilities
• Respect for confidentiality and a diverse client population
