Emergency Medical Technician Casual Position

This role within the ambulance department allows for varied shifts, including days and nights. Candidates should be equipped with a Primary Care Paramedic diploma and essential life support certifications. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for successful interaction with patients and team members in diverse situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to emergency and non-emergency service calls

• Provide assessments and treatments for patients

• Safely transport patients as needed

• Collaborate effectively within healthcare teams

• Maintain thorough documentation of treatments

Requirements:

• Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) necessary

• Valid Class 4 driver's license required

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) mandatory

• Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics recommended

• Excellent verbal communication abilities required
