There has never been a more exciting time to be  are an integrated health system providing the full continuum of care to the six communities of the western James Bay coast with over 500 employees, physicians, and partners in care. Who

You Are
  • Significant experience working with Indigenous and First Nations People
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated case management, counselling, and referral experience working within mental health and/or addictions recovery settings
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to issues of gender, race, sexual orientation, and issues impacting diverse communities
  • Understanding of the Mental Health Act and related legislation
What You’ll Do
  • Provide mental health and addictions support to clients
  • Ongoing case management for adults living with addictions that may or may not be seeking treatment
  • Case management can include the provision of psychiatric consultation services
  • Liaise with the circle of care to ensure ongoing case management and ongoing relapse prevention for clients
  • Seek supervision and any impasse or areas out of your scope of practice, based on your skills, job description or outside of your regulatory body practice scope
  • Coordinate timely access to mental health, developmental and/or addictions services for adult clients who have complex needs
