We are looking for a Lab Patient Technician to support our Patient Service Centres within Sudbury. In this role, you will greet and prepare patients for specimen collection, perform phlebotomies, and record essential test data. Your ability to communicate effectively and respond to client inquiries will strengthen our patient relationships, while your attention to detail ensures efficient specimen preparation and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and clarify the specimen collection steps

• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings with precision

• Oversee special test collections and documentation

• Manage inquiries and follow up with patients

• Prepare specimens for effective transportation and testing

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Laboratory Assistant program preferred

• Phlebotomy or ECG experience desired

• Exceptional communication and typing skills

• Strong patient service mindset

• Ability to uphold strict patient confidentiality standards
