Be a vital part of the Sheshegwaning First Nation by providing homemaking services to seniors and disabled persons.

Your role will focus on care, compassion, and organization.

Sheshegwaning First Nation invites applicants for the role of Homemaking Services Worker dedicated to elderly and disabled community members. This position involves reporting to the Health Director and providing essential cleaning and homemaking services. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, compassion, and the ability to work independently to coordinate client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean carpets, floors, windows, and bathrooms thoroughly

• Perform laundry duties and manage bed linens

• Sanitize fridges and stoves regularly

• Execute additional housekeeping tasks as needed

• Schedule service timings to align with client requirements

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Patient and understanding attitude toward clients

• Capability to work unsupervised

• G driver’s license required

• Vulnerable sector criminal reference check necessary
