The North Shore Health Network provides rural healthcare for communities along the north shore of Lake Huron – including services in Blind River, Thessalon and Richards Landing.

The North Shore Health Network sites have been serving their communities faithfully for many years providing emergency, acute, complex continuing care, long term care and community support services.

The Role:

The Clinical Pharmacist is an integral member of the health care team at North Shore Health Network, working collaboratively to deliver safe, compassionate, and high‑quality pharmaceutical care to patients and their families. This role encompasses the identification, prevention, and resolution of actual or potential drug‑related problems to promote optimal patient outcomes and safety. Through accountability, clinical excellence, and respectful collaboration, the pharmacist serves as a trusted medication and drug information resource, supporting informed decision‑making across the organization.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/

EDUCATION:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

Must be Registered Pharmacist Part A with Ontario College of Pharmacists

Must have proof of valid liability insurance

PREFERRED

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong clinical skills in identifying and solving drug related problems

Motivated self-learner, who seeks and evaluates learning opportunities to enhance patient care and continuously strives to maintain lifelong learning

Demonstrated good work performance and attendance record

ASSETS:

Bilingual

Minimum 2 to 3 years of clinical experience, with acute care hospital pharmacist and/or emergency department hospital pharmacist experience preferred.

SALARY RANGE:

$138,650 per annum
