Elevate resident health as a part-time Registered Dietitian at Extendicare in Stoney Creek. Utilize your expertise to drive nutrition initiatives and enhance patient care outcomes.
As a Registered Dietitian at Ridgeview, you will assess residents' dietary needs, develop individualized nutrition plans, and deliver education to residents and their families. This role emphasizes coordination, compliance with dietary regulations, and ongoing assessment of nutrition-related risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document residents' nutritional status
• Develop and implement tailored nutrition care plans
• Educate family and caregivers on dietary practices
• Monitor residents requiring ongoing nutrition support
• Approve and review therapeutic meal plans
Requirements:
• Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited program
• 1-2 years of related experience in complex care
• Registered with the provincial Dietitians regulatory body
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
