Position: LifeLabs Lab Patient Technician Role
Location: Athens

Empower patient health as a Lab Patient Technician with Life Labs. In this vital part-time position, your work will focus on the critical specimen collection process and patient relations.

Your responsibilities include greeting patients, performing phlebotomies, and completing special test collections. You will also manage necessary documentation and maintain strong client relationships. By adhering to strict protocols, you'll assist in providing trustworthy results that contribute to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and describe the specimen collection

• Perform phlebotomies and execute ECG tracings

• Handle special test collections efficiently

• Maintain records and manage patient demographics

• Prepare samples for accurate testing and delivery

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program

• Relevant phlebotomy experience desired

• Familiarity with ECG procedures is an asset

• Proficient in computer use with a typing speed of 40 wpm

• Strong customer service aptitude and empathy
