Location: New Osnaburgh
Become a Community Aide with SLFNHA in Mishkeegogamang, where you'll support essential health services within a vibrant community hub. This full-time role is focused on managing administrative duties and client care.
As a Community Assistant, you will work directly with the Developmental Services team, coordinating airport pickups, facility maintenance, and client bookings. A strong preference is given to First Nations individuals to cultivate effective community relations in health care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Arrange airport pickups and drop-offs for staff
• Manage health hub bookings and key activities
• Conduct cleaning and maintain facilities
• Oversee ordering and supply management via SLFNHA
• Document client therapy progress and referrals
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in health services
• Ability to communicate in local First Nations dialects beneficial
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
• Competence in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat required
• Hold a valid G Driver's License
Drive community health initiatives and engage with clients in a culturally competent environment.
