Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a Home Care Attendant to provide essential support to individuals, assisting those frail, disabled, or mentally challenged to remain will engage with a diverse client base, utilizing your initiative and critical thinking skills to prioritize tasks in accordance with established care plans. This position requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license and may involve working evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and home support services
• Assist clients in remaining safely at home
• Exercise initiative in work prioritization
• Maintain confidentiality and respect diverse populations
• Collaborate effectively within the Home Care team
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education required
• Home Care Attendant Certificate preferred
• Experience in home care setting is an asset
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
