VON Canada is seeking an experienced Continuing Care Assistant for a full-time position within their Home Support program. This role requires a dedicated professional to assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support. Your commitment will help clients maintain their independence and comfort in their own homes while collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care to clients in their homes
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan nutritious meals and light housekeeping
• Help with mobility and safety during transfers
• Monitor and maintain a safe home environment
Requirements:
• CCA certification or equivalent experience
• Current Standard First Aid or CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment
