Become a vital part of Corewell Health Endoscopy Center - Patterson as a full-time Scheduling Representative. Coordinate surgical schedules and ensure efficient patient processing in a state-of-the-art facility.

In this customer-oriented role, you will act as a liaison between physician offices and the surgery center. Your primary tasks will involve scheduling procedures using a computerized system, managing patient demographics, and handling billing information. You will also support growth strategies and ensure high-quality service for patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule elective procedures and verify physician privileges

• Maintain logs of physician privilege status and confidential information

• Acquire and verify authorizations and medical records

• Enter physician orders for testing and patient registrations

• Organize initiatives to enhance case volume growth

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of computerized scheduling systems

• Ability to maintain accurate statistical records

• Preferred 2 years of medical clerical experience
