As a Recreation Therapist II, you will lead clinical decisions and support residents through creative interventions. Your responsibilities include assessment, program development, and supervision of therapy assistants. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the quality of care and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment and treatment of residents’ needs

• Design engaging recreational programs tailored to clients

• Supervise therapy assistants and volunteers effectively

• Participate in patient rounds and family conferences

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy or related field

• Active/eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association

• Minimum of three years’ clinical experience as a Recreation Therapist

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
