Environmental Services Housekeeping Aide

Support patient and workplace safety through housekeeping and infection control practices as an Environmental Services Aide working day shifts. This 0.80 FTE position includes laundry responsibilities.

Prairie Mountain Health seeks an Environmental Services Aide for housekeeping and laundry services under established policies, procedures, and regulations. The role requires organized, independent work while maintaining quality service, confidentiality, and positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Clean assigned areas using approved equipment and products
• Complete washing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and transport linens
• Inspect areas and maintain equipment throughout assigned shifts
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory procedures

• Grade 9 education under Manitoba standards
• Demonstrated dexterity and efficient work methods
• Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Ability to respect confidentiality and cultural diversity
