Environmental Services Housekeeping Aide

Support patient and workplace safety as an Environmental Services Aide in Rossburn, performing housekeeping and laundry services during day shifts.

Prairie Mountain Health seeks an Environmental Services Aide for Rossburn Health Centre, including the Hospital and PCH. Under supervision, this Clinical Support position follows cleaning schedules, infection control guidelines, and departmental procedures. The work includes housekeeping, laundry, inspections, inventory support, and maintaining equipment for consistent service quality.

• Clean assigned areas using established schedules and infection control guidelines
• Perform washing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting
• Collect, process, fold, transport, and distribute linen
• Inspect areas, equipment, carts, and supplies before shift completion
• Assist with training, inventory, audits, and quality control procedures

• Grade 9 education under Manitoba standards
• Demonstrated dexterity and efficient work methods
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Problem solving, decision making, and communication skills
• Ability to respect confidentiality and cultural diversity
