Support people-centered care with Southern Health-Santé Sud as a Health Care Aide requiring English communication and teamwork. Work may include evenings, nights, weekends, and regional travel.

This Health Care Aide position supports care delivery within Southern Health-Santé Sud’s diverse communities. Candidates should bring a recognized Health Care Aide Certificate, current Basic Life Support certification, and preferred health care experience. The work requires organized workload management, effective communication, and respect for confidentiality, cultural diversity, and stressful situations.

• Provide people-centered care within Southern Health-Santé Sud
• Organize and prioritize assigned workload effectively
• Communicate verbally and in writing with others
• Seek assistance when needed as a team member
• Travel to regional facilities as duties require

• Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
• One to two years’ health care experience preferred
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled clients preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
