Position: Senior SharePoint/Microsoft 365 Analyst to support our utilities client with a broad range of application-focused IT
Location: VictoriaOur utilities client is seeking an Senior SharePoint/Microsoft Analyst to support a broad range of application-focused IT initiatives planned for . This role will sit within the Web team and focus on SharePoint Online, SharePoint , and Microsoft Power Platform solutions across multiple business units. The work is primarily enhancement-driven, with some involvement in migration activities and future-state groundwork.
Overview
This role supports ongoing application enhancements, configuration, and operational support within a Microsoft ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, while also supporting governance, security, and operational best practices.
Must-Haves
5+ years of professional experience in Web Application Operations or Web Systems AnalysisHands-on experience administering and developing solutions in SharePoint Online and Share Point Strong Power Platform experience
, including Power Apps and Power Automate integrated with MicrosoftAdvanced Power Shell scripting experience for automation, content migration, and system managementExperience supporting on-prem SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer and Info PathAbility to analyze business requirements and design practical, scalable technical solutionsNice-to-Haves
Experience with SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online migrationsHands-on experience with Sharegate Power Shell scriptingExperience using Link Fixer or similar migration toolsBroad IT background with an understanding of web UI best practicesResponsibilities
Systems Analyst support for the Web team across multiple application initiativesAdminister SharePoint Online and SharePoint site collections, including site creation, permissions, customization, and lifecycle managementDesign and develop SharePoint solutions including sites, lists, and document librariesDesign, build, and deploy Power Apps solutions to automate business processesConfigure and maintain Power Automate workflows and integrations with Microsoft servicesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsProvide operational support and troubleshooting for SharePoint and Power Platform solutionsImplement governance, security, and best practices for SharePoint Online and Power PlatformDocument processes, procedures, and solution designs for ongoing support and knowledge transferSupport or contribute to SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online migration initiatives as requiredDeliver a positive customer service experience when supporting business users
