Network Security Engineer in Montreal

Elevate your career as a Network Security Engineer in Montreal, Quebec. This role focuses on deploying IoT firewall solutions and providing L3 operational support while working onsite three days a week.

In this 6-month position, you’ll lead the integration of secure networks with external vendors and internal teams. Your expertise in firewalls, VPNs, and cloud environments will be crucial. Collaborate with technology peers and enhance infrastructure resilience through effective monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate designs with vendors and teams effectively

• Lead onboarding and integration of firewall solutions

• Provide L3 operational support and incident management

• Monitor and ensure infrastructure health and resilience

• Create and manage operational runbooks for processes

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in network security

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT

• Experience with firewalls like Fortinet or Palo Alto

• Strong knowledge of networking and cloud solutions

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
