Position: Senior Technical lead (T24) - data migration, responsible for overseeing technical execution of the Temenos migration,

Our Financial Services Client is looking for a Senior Technical lead (
T24) - data migration,
responsible for overseeing technical execution of the Temenos migration, including environments, tooling, deployments, migration readiness and supporting a major merger and transformation initiative within a highly regulated banking environment.

The successful candidate will produce architecture artifacts for the data migration (data flow diagrams), assess the FCU volume impact on T24 platform health (database growth, COB performance, Clearings, DW Export performance), and lead Temenos PS + Clearsight on migration development, mock runs, dress rehearsals, and reconciliation orchestration.

6 months contract to start, % Remote (Candidates must be located in BC, ON, AB candidates)

Must Have:

Experience building and consuming APIs
, working with relational databases, and what it takes to run code in a production environment.

Solid understanding of Temenos/T24 (R13+) core modules

Experience in core banking migrations

Hands-on knowledge of deployment, environments, and migration tooling

Experience writing/owning migration runbooks

Deep T24 platform expertise, data model, jBASE/Oracle, COB mechanics, batch architecture

Data migration leadership on a prior bank/CU program at scale

Vendor management capability, able to direct Temenos PS and Clearsight effectively

Performance/capacity planning understanding (COB windows, Clearings SLAs, DW throughput)

Architecture artifact production discipline

Nice-to-have:

TDP (Temenos Data Provisioning) or Customer Migration Tool hands-on;

DW platform exposure (Snowflake / Synapse / Teradata depending on Vancity's stack); TOGAF or equivalent architecture credentials.

Responsibilities:

1) Development of arch artifacts, for the data mergers/migration - Data Flow Diagram associated to the merger, that the testing team has been requesting.

2) Assess impact of additional volume brought on by the merger to the overall T24 platform health including database growth, COB performance, Clearings performance, DW Export performance, etc.

3) Lead Temenos and Clearsight to manage the Data Migration development, coordinate Data Migration runs, plan the Data Migration mock
