Job Description We are a fast-growing performance marketing agency helping fitness studios and gym owners grow through Facebook and Instagram advertising, automated lead follow-up, and client retention systems built in Go High Level .We work with over 150 active clients across two portfolios - independent fitness studios and a franchise brand - and we’re in an active growth phase. Our model is deliberately standardised: we’ve systematized the delivery so it can run at volume without founder involvement in every account.
We’re at an inflection point. The founders are stepping back from day-to-day delivery. The account management team is growing. And we need someone to own the operational layer between the team and the work - not someone who needs to be told what to do, but someone who sees what’s missing and builds the system to close it.
The Role This is not a traditional account management role. This is an operational leadership role focused on enabling scalable client delivery. You will be the layer between the delivery team and the founders - owning escalations, enabling account managers, and building the systems that let the business scale without breaking. There is substantial relationship management involved - franchise owner calls, key account ownership, and strategic client conversations are all part of this role.
You will own:
* Day-to-day delivery operations - escalations, delivery consistency oversight, account health monitoring
* Account Manager (AM) enablement and coaching - building independent account management capability across the delivery team
* Franchise owner relationships - leading calls, managing relationships, handling escalations
* A small portfolio of key accounts - directly managing UR’s highest-priority clients
* Workflow and system improvement - identifying what’s breaking and working with our automation specialist to fix it
* Portfolio health visibility - reporting patterns, churn signals, and operational gaps to leadership
* Onboarding oversight - ensuring new clients progress through the build process without stalling
What You’ll Build In the first 90 days we need:
* A documented churn risk framework - defined signals, intervention playbook, escalation pathway
* A structured Account Manager delivery review cadence - regular documented reviews with account managers
* Escalation tiers that actually work - clear rules so the team knows when to handle, when to escalate, and when to involve founders
* A portfolio health dashboard that updates without manual intervention
In the first 6 months:
* Account managers who can operate independently without constant guidance
* An onboarding pipeline the AMs own - not the founders
* A retention rate that reflects proactive management, not reactive firefighting
* Founder dependency that has measurably reduced
You Are
* Someone who has worked in a founder-led digital marketing or performance marketing agency and knows the operational chaos that comes with it
* Comfortable in Go High Level - you don’t need to build workflows from scratch, but you need to understand how they work and what breaks them
* A systems thinker who gets frustrated when things are in someone’s head instead of documented
* Someone who coaches rather than does - you build capability in the team, not dependency on…
