Take on a System Administrator role in Ottawa focused on Data Centre operations. Provide essential support for IT infrastructure managing geospatial data for federal clients.

We are looking for dedicated System Administrators to join our specialized IT team. This position requires expertise in managing servers, storage, and networking within a complex environment. Candidates will work on-site in Ottawa, significantly impacting federal operational systems through their IT proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Data Centre operations and troubleshoot systems

• Configure Windows Desktop/Server OS, and Unix/Linux environments

• Administer Microsoft Exchange and endpoint security

• Ensure system stability through performance analysis

• Develop and execute system testing protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of system administration experience

• Familiar with server virtualization and enterprise storage

• Capability to diagnose complex IT challenges

• Must obtain Government of Canada security clearance

• Preferred:
Relevant industry certifications
