Join Halton District School Board as a Network and Telecommunications Analyst, responsible for network installations and monitoring, at the J.W. Singleton Education Centre. Ensure uptime and optimize telecommunications services while collaborating with staff and vendors.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Supervisor of Network Operations, focusing on network and telecommunications solutions at HDSB locations. Your expertise will drive strategic planning, equipment installation, and security monitoring efforts. The role encourages mentoring within the Information Services team to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and install network and telecommunications systems

• Monitor infrastructure for issues and resolutions

• Manage software for secure access to services

• Review logs for security vulnerabilities

• Mentor team members on networking solutions

Requirements:

• 3-year diploma in IT or Networking

• ISC2 Security Certification or equivalent

• 5 years of relevant experience

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to lift 30 lbs and climb ladders
