IT Technician

Position: Air North IT Technician Role
Location: Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Support Air North's technology needs as a full-time IT Technician in Whitehorse, Yukon. This impactful role focuses on addressing employees' software and hardware challenges with timely solutions.

As an IT Technician at Air North, you will provide essential service and support by responding to urgent technical challenges faced by our team. This includes troubleshooting issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring appropriate documentation of processes. The role emphasizes a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication regarding technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor service portal for user requests and problems

• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues with urgency

• Maintain and manage inventory tracking systems

• Set up hardware and software for employees

• Document new processes in the knowledge base

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• Previous IT experience required

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is mandatory

• Strong sense of accountability and responsibility

• Must have legal work rights in Canada
