Position: Business Analyst for Mining Operations
Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Technica is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to enhance mining operations in Sudbury. This role is geared towards building data-driven tools and streamlining workflows that support critical business functions.

As a key player in the analytics team, you will report to the Senior Data Analyst and engage with data from multiple sources. Responsibilities include testing product releases, automating reporting processes, and developing reports with Crystal Reports. This position emphasizes growth and practical experience in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Python and SQL tools for data analysis

• Test and validate new features of business systems

• Ensure quality assurance across various internal systems

• Automate data processes and report generation

• Analyze data from SQL databases and spreadsheets

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma in a related field

• 2-5 years of experience; new graduates can apply

• Proficient in Python and SQL, with an interest in data

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Microsoft/Power Platform is an asset

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
