Serve as the technology training leader at the Victoria Police Department in British Columbia, focusing on enhancing staff proficiency. The Technology Training Specialist role involves crafting and delivering essential training programs tailored to varied user needs.

As a full-time expert in technology training, you’ll ensure effective education of officers and staff on critical technology applications.

Your role is vital for creating training strategies aligned with departmental goals and adapting to evolving technological demands. Work alongside IT teams and utilize your own expertise to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop diverse training materials for technology platforms

• Conduct instructor-led training and resource development

• Identify training gaps and propose effective solutions

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and enhance programs

• Maintain training logs and documentation

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or certification

• At least 4 years of technology training experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and LMS tools

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Excellent time management abilities
