IT Systems and Network Administrator

Position: IT Systems and Network Administrator Role
Location: Northern Manitoba (Norway House)

Take charge of IT infrastructure as a Senior IT Systems and Network Administrator with Alamos Gold Inc. in a dynamic, remote setting. Lead technology initiatives for sustainable operations.

In this critical position, you'll report to the Project Director while managing IT resources across various locations. This role requires deep knowledge of Microsoft systems, server management, and Cisco networking in both urban and remote environments. You will be at the forefront of ensuring robust cybersecurity measures and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise departmental budgeting and team development

• Maintain Windows Server and Active Directory environments

• Support Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls

• Train on-site staff in basic IT troubleshooting

• Optimize network performance in high-demand situations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field

• 7+ years managing complex IT infrastructures

• Certifications like MCSE or equivalent required

• Familiarity with VMware and backup solutions

• Strong leadership and communication abilities
