Timmins IT System Administrator Position

Location: Timiskaming North (Iroquois Falls A)

Are you ready to support critical IT functions? Lake Shore Gold is hiring an IT System Administrator in Timmins, Ontario, focused on technical support and network management.

In your new role as an IT System Administrator, you will provide essential support to staff by managing desktop setups and maintaining network security. This full-time position allows you to grow in a vibrant mining environment while utilizing your technical skills to ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and support software and hardware technologies

• Manage LAN/WAN implementations and network security

• Provide technical training and user support

• Administer cloud services, including Microsoft 365 and Azure

• Develop and maintain system documentation and network diagrams

Requirements:

• Technical diploma and at least 2 years of IT experience

• Industry certifications are a plus

• Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and network protocols

• Familiarity with disaster recovery solutions

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
